MOKE has recently introduced a new Euro 6 engine version of its BuggyCar. The vehicle is powered by a 276cc engine that meets Euro 6 emission standards, with power delivery optimized for low-end torque and off-road climbing scenarios.

According to the manufacturer, the new engine offers significantly improved low-end torque compared to previous versions, resulting in better traction and climbing capability on sand, gravel, and steep slopes. The fuel-powered drivetrain eliminates range anxiety, making it suitable for extended outdoor use.

On the regulatory front, the BuggyCar has passed EEC whole-vehicle type approval (EU), as well as U.S. DOT safety standards and EPA emission certification. This means the vehicle is fully road-legal in both Europe and the United States, with no restrictions to on-road use. It can serve as a daily driver, a rental vehicle for tourism, or transport within resorts and estates.

MOKE states that the BuggyCar is positioned as a small open-top vehicle that balances off-road capability with legal road use. The new Euro 6 engine version aims to meet stricter emission regulations while preserving the model’s lightweight, high-mobility character.
